Who is Louie?

Nick Lewis aka 'Louie' studied Media and Drama at Coleg Harlech, Wales and then Drama & Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths College, London for his BA Degree. Shortly after Nick moved to Northern Ireland and gained 15 years experience as a performer, youth worker and drama teacher specialising in improvisation and forum theatre. Nick brings a level of experience, quality and creativity uncommon in children's entertainment. Apart from performing as 'Louie', Nick has acted for the stage, appeared in short films, television (alongside Mark Gatiss in HBO's Game of Thrones and as a moody cop in BBC's The Fall to name but two) and has also written and devised pieces for youth theatre. Born and raised in Cardiff, Nick has previously practised as a qualified youth worker and drama teacher in Northern Ireland for the last 10 years and now considers Newry to be his home. When he is not performing Nick can often be found making props for use in his show, drawing silly faces and is particularly fondue of cooking and running (really slowly). Nick has been DBS vetted (enhanced police check) and has received Child Protection training. Louie has full Public Liability Insurance (up to 10 Million pounds) and is a member of the performers union Equity.
